The rubber outsole is a mixture of 70% recycled rubber and 30% new rubber.

 

The leather upper and linings are made from sustainable ECO biodegradeable cow leather.  Leather is a natural material designed to last a long time, the problem is when it is disposed of it will take many years to degrade due to the tanning process.  Green Comfort ECO technology in its tanning process keeps the same premium look and feel, but on disposal will bio-degrade much quicker than normal tanned leather.
